Laveau's Box
Marie Laveau was the penultimate New Orleans voodoo queen. She started her career as a hairstylist and during that time she learned all of the dirty little secrets of New Orleans' elite. She also became a trusted source for voodoo potions and charms and before long, that eclipsed her work as a hairdresser.

Marie Laveau reigned supreme over the voodoo business in New Orleans, for more than a hundred years, with her daughter taking the mantle and continuing her mothers work in her name.
